Our "healthy vs. sick lungs" posters, generously underwritten by Kindred Healthcare, come in two sizes: large (19 1/2 x 15 1/2 ) and small (7 1/4 x 9 1/2). If you live in Kentucky and would like to receive a free copy of the small poster, send an e-mail to menisam@kylung.org. Kentucky residents, businesses or organizations interested in ordering these items in quantity should send an e-mail or call 1-800-586-4872 to find out the cost for large and small posters. Due to limited available supplies, we are able to provide posters only to those who reside within our designated Kentucky service area. |

We are committed to stopping the needless toll tobacco use takes on Kentucky in terms of health, human suffering and economic cost. Since virtually all new smokers are children, we believe one key way to do this is to stop nicotine addiction before it ever occurs. We are working to fight tobacco use by:
- Preventing underage smoking
- Helping those of all ages who already smoke and want to quit
- Raising public awareness about the harmful health effects of smoking
- Countering the tobacco industry's message that smoking is cool, glamorous and fun
- Advocating for private and public policies, as well as local, state and federal laws to protect people from the harmful effects of second hand smoke
- Supporting diversification efforts to help farmers break their economic dependence on tobacco
- Encouraging the use of tobacco settlement funds on a comprehensive plan to prevent youth tobacco use
