KY Air Quality Improves, Says 2007 State of the Air Report

Kentucky's air quality improved in eight counties in the American Lung Association's annual report on air pollution issued May 1, 2008.  Nationwide, however, the American Lung Association finds that 125 million Americans live in areas with dangerous air pollution levels, and warns that the trends show air pollution levels stalling at levels that are still dangerous to millions of people.

2008 ASTHMA CAMP MOVES TO FANTASTIC NEW FACILITY

Winter may have yet one more howl or two to throw at us, but before we know it kids with asthma will once again be looking forward to our annual medically-staffed summer camp.  This year's camp -- to be held July 21-26 -- will be held at the Center for Courageous Kids, located near Scottsville, KY.  This modern new facility boasts gorgeous surroundings and lots of outdoor and indoor facilities for a host of fun activities, plus air conditioned lodging for kids and staff.
