Join the American Lung Association of Kentucky's Advocacy Network
What is the Advocacy Network?
The Advocacy Network is any easy way to increase your influence with elected officials by taking part in a system of rapid dissemination of information and responding to "calls for action." As an Advocacy in Action member, you will join other people throughout Kentucky who care about reducing and preventing tobacco use, promoting clean indoor and outdoor air, helping people with asthma, preventing the spread of tuberculosis, and improving access to quality health care. We are proud to be recognized in our state as a leader in advocating for public health issues and invite you to join us and make your voice heard.
In addition to receiving alerts that let you know how you can take action, you'll also get:
- A membership kit that includes a roster of your elected officials and tips for contacting them
- Public policy briefs and fact sheets on priority issues
- Timely information on state and local legislative issues
- An invitation to attend educational workshops on how to be an effective advocate
So, join the American Lung Association of
Kentucky's Advocacy Network today!
